Our firewood is exceptionally dry, with a moisture content of less than 20%, and has been perfectly aged. Our double split is split a second time, so each piece is roughly half the size of a loaf of bread (shapes and sizes naturally vary). Smaller pieces catch quickly and burn hot, which makes double split ideal for pizza ovens, chimineas, fire pits, smaller Victorian fireplaces and compact wood heaters.
